The 16 photos and 2 videos on this site also illustrate youth and ESD activity.

The Sustainable Colleges Project is one of the East Midlands RCE's flagship projects.

The project saw a baseline survey of education for sustainable development (ESD) activity in 30 further education colleges and Adult and Continuing Education Services in East Midlands region undertaken. The project also provided assistance by recent graduates in 9 further education colleges to develop and promote ESD activity in terms of curriculum, community and campus.

The final report of the project is below as a .doc attachment, containing information about the structure of the project, the nature of the work undertaken in colleges and data from a variety of sustainability surveys of colleges and learners.

Hello Colleaguas,

Nice work this group has been established, my compliments. As we´re building learning pathways on various theme´s, like Water, Food and Energy (photo enclosed shows a group of young scientists exampling water) I´m happy to be in this forum. Hope we can put someting together, at the moment I´m looking out for schools in your regions (age 10 - 16) to work with schools here in the Netherlands on Water.
Greetings, Jos Eussen

Here is a link to a video that we had produced for evaluation of the c - change project - lots of interesting footage about the project and how they used peer educaiton as a tool to further understanding of the issues surrounding climate change. http://www.prescap.f2s.com/c-change/

Hi, at RCE Graz-Styria together with a youth centre we have established a sustainability trail. students and youth worked together on the content of the trail. the trail is open for the public and has been built up in a recreation area where people of all ages pass by.
